Iran Zamin Farhang

Iran is a word of two parts; Ir- meaning “advocacy” and -An meaning “land”. Zamin also means Earth so “Iran Zamin” means Earth, as the land of advocacy. 

Farhang is what brings all the cultural diversity of Iran Zamin (the legendary land of oneness) under one umbrella with the level of love. Farhang is a Persian word that is difficult to find a synonym for in English: it is the combination of values that brings Peace to Diversity. Cyrus the Great (Kourosh) used Farhang to unite all nations of Iranian Plateau under the name of Persia.

It may sound biased but this was the first time many diverse nations coexisted peacefully . After all, Cyrus the Great was the first king to acknowledge and preserve human rights (The Cyrus Cylinder) and rule with Compassion.
