Ney Naameh
Based on “Ney Naameh” a poem by Rumi, adapted by Soha Sharif .

Ney Naameh is the introduction of Masnavi, which is the masterpiece of the famous Iranian poet and spiritual maestro ” Rumi ”. Ney Naameh story includes two parts: the first part talks about a story of coming to the earth, and the second is about a human after coming to the earth and how he/she mixes between the truths along with the abstract. Vasht Ney Naameh ‘s project is about the first part, humans coming to the earth. This project is a Multimedia production performing arts. Ney Naameh ‘s project includes the history, literature, and spirituality of the Iranian plateau and the mission of this project is to tell the story of Ney Naameh with ancient Iranian holistic movements, music, and visual arts while providing the non-Persian speaking audience the knowledge to grasp the true meaning of Jalal al din Rumi’s stories.

Vasht Performance 2019
This is an hour and thirty minutes show focused on dance movements and costumes all designed by Vasht. Classic Persian dance and some Folk dances of Iranian plateau will be performed with a theatrical pieces.
This show incorporates Iranian lost ancient dance movements and costumes of the Iranian plateau. These storytelling performances are based on folk, traditional, and classic stories of a region between Central Asia and the Middle East.

A night of vasht costumes to support PACI with effort of ISG of UCLA.
Our community has a need: to get more people involved with helping others. Your attendance will help fund research and treatment, support patients, and spread cancer awareness as all our proceeds will go to PACI.
Enjoy a special night of music, fashion, laughter, support, and unity. Survivors, friends, and family members will be inspired by this unique event.
Join us in the fight against cancer and remember, early detection can help save lives.
Family Costume Gathering
- Kids painted a ceramic and donated them to Vasht and we sold them to their parents. The donation was given to Child foundation the same day.
- We had 12 people from Vasht organization working at the event.
- The beautiful seasonal decoration was designed and placed.
- professional dance Pisces was performed.
- A kid performed a dance peace.
- A puppet theater was performed.
- And kids made a handcraft out of the character of the puppet theater
- Face painting was running in the whole show.
- There was a family costume game and a prize was giving to the kids and their parents.
- A dance gave happened 2 times and a prize was given to the winner.
- The nature of Halloween and other similar traditions was explained to kids and they played Ghashoghzani 2 times.
